CORETOX is the world’s first 150kDa botulinum toxin product without animal-derived components in toxin culture media and the end product of HSA (human serum albumin). CORETOX is a lyophilized white power for injection with a colorless transparent vial. colorless transparent solution when dissolved with saline.

For CORETOX, no animal components were added to the toxin culture media during the toxin source manufacturing. Polysorbate20 and L-methionine, which are listed in the US FDA, were used as the stabilizer in lieu of human serum albumin (HSA).

As a result of eliminating the animal components, the risk of potential infection by blood-derived pathogens or infectious microorganisms was reduced for CORETOX, so a higher degree of safety has been achieved.
